Anthony T. Solano is an actor with experience in both theater and screen that has that uncanny ray of joy radiating in his presence. The level of self love and eternal appreciation for life provides the boldest energy you will ever encounter.
For the last 6 years he has been living in New York City continuously working on his craft and living out his dream working as an actor & producing projects to not only further his career, but elevate the community of Color. One’s appearance nor neighborhood in which they grow up should ever decide their career/financial success.
Anthony’s most recent production Gray Ground is currently being shopped & pitched to major TV/streaming networks. Gray Ground is a profound social drama that involves love, prejudice & today's policing climate throughout the U.S. Anthony has been on stage throughout NYC and regional theaters in a myriad of original works. In television, expect to see Anthony in 2019 as a Co-Star in the forthcoming Cinemax TV show “Jett” as well as Netflix’s “Friends From College”. Anthony closed out Fall & Winter 2018 with a feature on CBS’s “Blue Bloods” & the legendary “Saturday Night Live”.
As the oldest of 4 boys, Anthony was shuffled from shelters to a group home and then a foster home before finally reuniting with his mother, Anthony had no choice but to become a man before his time. Ultimately providing him with a solid ability to learn and adapt to any surrounding amongst any demographic. One of his most proud character traits, Anthony draws from such experiences when applying Meisner Technique to a given role. A profound philomath, will seek to learn at every turn taken.
After graduating from Manchester High School & Great Path Academy (Manchester, CT) he went on to complete his B.S. & 5 minors from Springfield College (Springfield, MA) in 3 years (including a semester abroad in Alcala de Henares, Madrid, Spain while playing football all 3 years and Track & Field for 1. Passing up on acceptance & walk-on offers from the likes of CCSU, Tuskeegee University, Morehouse College, Clark Atlanta University amongst others in order to stay closer to home and be around family. He later attended The University of St. Joseph (West Hartford, CT) where he worked as a paraprofessional at the Gengras Center full time serving students with special needs and completed his Master’s in Business in 1.5 years. Anthony credits his steadfast determination to his faith in God along with the love and support from Jill as pillars for the growth and development that comes with his love of acting.
